These Australian visas are for relatives of Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, or Eligible New Zealand citizens. They consist of visas which require applicants to be sponsored by a close family relative. These are permanent visas which allow applicants to remain in Australia to be with their family and to have full work, study and travel rights and access to Medicare.

The Child visa is for applicants whose parent/s are an Australian citizen, the holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or an eligible New Zealand citizen.
The Carer visa is for applicants who need to care for a relative in Australia with a long-term or permanent medical condition OR to assist a relative providing this care to a member of their family unit with a long-term or permanent medical condition.
